Create Rolled-Up Number

Some cells represent a sum or other combination of several data points in your model. Create Rolled-Up Number adds a hyperlink to that cell.

Clicking the link opens the formula behind the value in the Daloopa Hub, so reviewers can see how the number was built instead of seeing only a hardcoded value.

You can open Create Rolled-Up Number from any of these locations:

• Home > Available Actions
• The sheet’s right-click menu
• The Review List after running Update with Also update unlinked data points enabled

Enabling Also update unlinked data points lets us link your model to the Daloopa database so your values stay connected for future updates. This linking step is typically only needed once.

Workflow

1. From Your Sheet. The top of the screen shows the cell you're mapping: its reference, line item name, current value, period, and formula.
2. By Applying Formula. Below, search or scroll the table to find the Daloopa data points behind your value. Check each one to include it; Daloopa labels them A, B, C, and so on. Build the formula with those labels (for example, A+B). When the result matches your cell, a Match badge confirms it.
3. Confirm and Retrofit. Click Retrofit to complete the mapping.
